My reluctant reader LOVES these books

My daughter is a good reader, but does not really enjoy it - until now she cannot get enough of these books. They have books targeted towards boys, and books targeted towards girls. Usually present "difficult" social situations that need to be overcome that most 3rd or 4th graders might face (my daughter though is in 1st.) It is a chapter book and she loves going to the end of the book and finding out others that have been published and is begging me to get them out of the library. They are hard to find but if they engage her and are positive in their message, then I'm all for it! (Jake Maddox is a pseudonym for a host of authors writing for this series, I believe.)
