Stokerdine Conspiracy: Glowing In Darkness I and II

In the 1960s, Allison Anita Jones met and fell in love with Paul Antoine Mugler while studying in Paris. When the couple discovered they would have a baby, they married and relocated to Allison's hometown of Chicago. Antoine, heir to a now-bankrupt French perfumery, took a job as an interior decorator but was thought to have mysteriously died in a plane crash, leaving Allison a young widow to raise their only son, Martin.

At the age of three, Martin began having problematic sleep episodes and could not be awakened. Allison took him to Dr. Marak Burad, an award-winning clinical psychiatrist and sleep disorder specialist. Dr. Burad solicited funding from Stokerdine's International and a major religious organization to conduct a three-year study of gifted children with out-of-body experiences. The Reverend Mother Catherine Anastasia Dumas of the French order of Blue Nuns joined as a key benefactor. Martin would receive the care he needed and an all-expense-paid college education in return.

After the study, Allison learned that Martin had Life Trance Dementia Syndrome (LTDS) - enabling his spirit to float undetected from his body and visit other people. Allison's attraction to the handsome British Indian doctor resulted in holy matrimony. Meanwhile, Martin's Life Trance became trapped in an enchanted eighteenth-century anniversary clock - a family heirloom once crafted for the last French royals with the power to house human spirits. When the clock was stolen, Martin became a child with special needs.

In 2008, after purchasing the timepiece from a unique shop in Brooklyn, aspiring jazz singer and art collector Charly Bergeron inadvertently released Martin's Life Trance through his DNA. The act opened a time portal and Martin was perceived as a glowing poltergeist. When Martin and Charly finally met, they discovered a common thread that included superhuman abilities and an inescapable mission.

The Stokerdine Conspiracy takes a visit to 1788 Nouvelle Orleans, where secrets buried beneath the Opale plantation explain Martin's connection to Charly and the origin of their extraordinary gifts. Beneath the plantation's gardens lies an underground schoolhouse built in secret for the children of enslaved people - and beneath that, an ossuary whose bones still glow in the darkness. Discover the truth about CADIVA, the last remnant of a destroyed alien race. Meet the Reverend Mother Catherine Anastasia Dumas, whose blue habit conceals powers beyond human comprehension. Uncover the double life of Anderson Parham and the transformation of Charles Jacques Clayson into the unforgettable Ms. Chavette. Every character, every secret, and every glowing thread connects to the Stokerdine Corporation's conspiracy to control world commerce through race annihilation.

The Stokerdine Conspiracy is the combined edition of Glowing in Darkness Volumes I and II.
