This book continues the Stoic series. While it's difficult to discuss the plot without revealing key spoilers from the first book, I can share that many familiar characters return. Though released second, it is actually the third installment in the series. The first book was originally written as transgressive fiction, designed to feel more like a nightmare than erotica. It has since been re-released with all graphic language and sexual content cleaned or removed while still telling the same story. The second book offers a fresh take on "The Most Dangerous Game," narrated from the perspective of the killer in the first book. This installment begins as a transgressive Western and gradually transforms into a contemporary horror.
