A swarm of flies try to survive an incredible and hazardous journey through a neighbourhood. Along the way, they come up with a cunning plan to avoid being eaten by a flock of birds, there is a scary and fateful meeting with three wicked spiders (a fortune teller, an acupuncturist and a bearded lady) that trick and lure them into their webs.A kaleidoscopic butterfly uses her artistic skills in an extraordinary way to help a friend find his way through the dangerous woods, and she gets involved in a tug of war with a hairy, scary creature when trying to rescue two flies from its clutches.The swarm try to cross a motorway, some make it €]some don't, and they devise an ingenious way of swimming across a boating lake.
