Stigma is a collection of poems about the deepest emotions people go through in their daily life, but are to afraid to express due to the stigma society has put on them. In these poems, the writer explores and manifest sadness, depression, and lonesomeness. The process of writing these poems gave the writer sanctuary from depression and anxiety. The book cover resembles the writer herself in her attempt to conceal her dark thoughts to avoid the stigma and fit into society. The poems combine expressions used in the Arabic language with English phrases to elegantly create poetic language
