Sticky Note Lifestyle: A Collection of Short Stories

Before writing this short collection of stories I planned to have an ongoing theme which would be present in each of them and decided on inner monologue of each character's journey through life's experiences. Thoughts, emotions and behavioural traits would be prominent throughout. 'The soul of the reader is at the writer's control' (Lawrence, 1917). This statement gives an author all of the confidence they need to write effectively and passionately to affect the reader in their intended way. Throughout each story I wanted to haul the reader's emotions and to manipulate their feelings towards the characters, which would enable me to keep engagement and intrigue at its peak and in effect, whilst reading, genuinely care for the characters involved. I hope I have in some part been able to achieve that in this collection.
