On the small island of Sarpedon lived the minor God of the Sea, Phorcys, along with his Goddess wife Ceto, and their three daughters. The elder two were the Goddess Stheno and the Goddess Euryale. The youngest daughter, however, was born mortal, and her name was Medusa.

For Medusa's eighteenth birthday a party was hosted by her parents for eligible suitors for all three daughters. Gods, warriors, and champions came from all over to see what Phorcys and Ceto had been keeping to themselves for so many years. The daughter's beauty was said to be unmatched, even to Aphrodite herself.

While Ares and Aphrodite's sons Deimos and Phobos wanted to claim Stheno and Euryale for their own, no one aside from Poseidon showed Medusa any interest at all. Despite the young mortal's best intentions, she fell into a deep love affair with the mighty God of the Sea, and that's where everything went wrong.

Aphrodite's jealousy knew no bounds. With Athena's help she cursed the sisters from Sarpedon with snakes for hair, and the ability to turn any mortal man who dared gaze upon them into stone. But Medusa was harboring a powerful secret. Would Stheno discover her sister's truth before Medusa's death by her lover's son?
