Stevie Snickerdoodle's Wild Walkabout

By: Garner, Hester

Stevie Snickerdoodle has never quite fit in.

At school, he is often on the fringes of the cool groups because he is different. Then, quite by accident, Stevie finds himself transported to a strange world where nothing is quite what it seems - and where he must face the biggest question of all: why is he different?

As Stevie encounters one unexpected situation after another, he begins to discover that being different doesn't have to mean being alone. Along the way, he starts to uncover a secret recipe for friendship, acceptance and understanding.

But learning what it means to be cool isn't quite as simple as Stevie first imagined.

An exciting and thoughtful chapter-book adventure, Stevie Snickerdoodle's first journey introduces a boy who sees the world in his own way and discovers that his differences may not be the problem he thought they were.

With mystery, action, humour and plenty of surprises, this is the first adventure in the Stevie's Adventures Series - a story about friendship, belonging and discovering that there may be more than one way to see the world.
