The STEPS course is designed to be facilitated in small groups over 9-10 weeks, and emphasizes immediate application of the principals being learned. This course follows a strategic model for local evangelism that has been taught and successfully implemented by Church Partnership Evangelism in dozens of different countries and different cultures around the world. CPE emphasizes that every believer is an intercessor.
