Stepping Stones to Faith in God

Life is too short to second-guess how it will end or what comes afterwards. Who will go to Heaven? What is the alternative? In this witness book, M. Sue Alexander details specific spiritual experiences that led her to believe in the holy Trinity: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. During growing up years, Sue lived with her family behind the walls of West Tennessee State Mental Hospital, where her father was the resident dentist. After WW II ended, many families from Europe and other war-torn nations migrated to America. A few foreign doctors took jobs at the hospital. As part of an international community, Sue was introduced to diverse languages and cultures as she played with children from other parts of the world. The Kakis family had a profound influence upon Sue's life, as well as her mother's steady faith in God. Regularly attending a Baptist church, Sue sang in two female quartets. At age eleven, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, was baptized, and gifted by the Holy Spirit to sing and write songs. Her first melody was recorded at Sam Philip's Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1952. Making a new best friend in Junior High School helped Sue adjust to her new setting. For the next six years, she dedicated her time to church activities and developing her God-given talents. After graduating high school in 1958, tragedy struck Sue's family when her mother had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized. Taking over duties at home, it appeared she would not attend college. But her mother came home in August, so she enrolled in Union University. The summer of 1960, Gloria, her high school best friend, was killed in an automobile accident. As if God was personally delivering the awful news, her mother phoned from New Mexico. She'd read about the accident in the Albuquerque newspaper. Married in 1962 to Larry Alexander, Sue taught junior high school while giving birth to three children. Always a wife and mother first, Sue has always cherished friendships. While living in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1974, Sue's encounter with an angel in her daughter Karen's third-grade classroom confirmed God's call on her life to write songs. Five years later, the invitation to accompany a friend to Memphis for a psychic reading was a huge error as Sue received an unholy prophecy over the writing. Satan is busy tempting; that never changes. Propelled by demonic influences, Sue furiously wrote four secular novels in the next few years. Realizing her error, it was too late to avoid the consequences. Not until 1986, did God miraculously deliverer her from the dark overshadowing of evil. Immediately, she began penning Gospel songs. In July, Sue joined a Christian Jail Ministry team in Jackson, Mississippi, and details a few divine experiences, as well as a devil's aggravation that almost ended her real estate career. In 1988, Sue burned the four secular books at a vacant property site in Stone Mountain, Georgia. As Sue moved around with her family, she became licensed in three different states to see real estate. This afforded her the opportunity to assist a few despondent homeowners in marketing their difficult-to-sell properties with God's help. In 1997, an End-Time prophetic dream became the premise of Sue's first Christian book: Resurrection Dawn 2014. In a variety of situations, Sue has openly shared her faith in Jesus with others. She tells the anointed stories of a few friends who have also experienced divine interventions. Growing faith in God can prove a challenge, but persecutions are necessary to perfect the human soul. Sue believes God's blessings exceed any discomfort she's experienced along life's stony path to Afterlife.
