A popular novelist and motivational speaker shows women, especially African-American women, how to put themselves in the spotlight--whether they're selling a talent, a service, a product, or a dream. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The only thing I have a problem with is that "Steppin' Out With Attitude" wasn't available 10 years ago, before I wasted all that time on trial and error trying to figure out what to do with myself -- and my attitude! The author identifies some of our greatest oppressors and shows effective ways of combating them, shares testimonials by women who've overcome tremendous obstacles (I was really inspired by the one about Adrienne Shabazz on pages 30-31!!), and provides step-by-step guidance on how to achieve the success you deserve with fun and rather enlightening worksheets and "attitude adjustment" techniques. So many sisters are dissatisfied with their lives, yet don't know what to do about it. This book breaks it down WITH ATTITUDE and style in simple, straightforward, easy-to-understand-and-apply language. I highly recommend this book, particularly to sisters with that nagging feeling that there's something you should be doing instead of "settling" for less than what you want.Tia Shabazz (a/k/a Tiwoni)
