It begins as another ordinary day at the Peters' house. Maggie, a college student, lives with her widowed father, Vaughn, in a small Pennsylvania town. When Maggie presents him with ballroom dance lessons as a birthday gift, Vaughn is reminded of his past with his wife Sheila and their days of performing in ballroom competitions throughout their marriage.
