Eleven - year - old Stella Gray has just moved back to her hometown of Vespa, Idaho after a year abroad with her parents. She's totally bummed out that all her friends are away at sleepaway camp her first week back.
While racing around on her brand-new bicycle, Stella finds herself in some pretty hot water and lands herself a job at the local tea parlor to pay off her debt.
