March 12, 1938: Adolf Hitler annexes his homeland, Austria. Jews are then required to purchase an expensive exit visa before being allowed to leave the country. A group of Viennese Czech resistance fighters hire a young female Jewish painter to forge copies of two stolen works by Gustav Klimt in order to help finance their fight. Her price: four exit visas.
