Y/n was just an ordinary kid, eager to make friends at Playcare. Unfortunately, none of the other children wanted to play or befriend him--except for one boy, Theodore Grambell, who mysteriously vanished. Despite this, the Smiling Critters took notice of Y/n and tried their best to be the friends he longed for, doing everything they could to make him smile and feel happy. However, before the infamous Hour of Joy at Playtime Co., Y/n was placed in a cryogenic chamber in one of the labs. After a long time, he awoke to find himself trapped in the now-abandoned factory, left to decay since the Hour of Joy. Alone and scared, Y/n must find a way to escape before he becomes the next victim of the toys that roam the factory. But the toys don't seem to want to harm him--in fact, they seem to want Y/n all to themselves. The Smiling Critters, in particular, don't want Y/n to leave and would rather have him join their family as one of them. Now, Y/n faces a difficult decision: can he escape the factory, or will he be trapped forever with the toys that only want to play with him for all eternity?
