Statuo is a book which explores how we deal with grief and it's effect on the overall human experience. Author's ramble: I started out this book at the very start of my writing journey. And because of this, it's probably the most unstructured book you'll ever read. The first few chapters are filled with bad dialogue and bits that'll make you cringe and the plot development is near non-existent for most of the book. However, I've come to love it, so much to the point where I decided to publish it. I came back to this project after taking a break from writing. As a result, the writing progresses as you read through it. I've made minimal edits to the original manuscript for the simple reason that I want this book to serve as an illustration of how a writer's skill can improve and change. It's kind of like how your partner would tell you there's beauty in your imperfections: that's how I feel about this book. Importantly, this book serves as the stem for the ENTIRE Statuo series. I made an incredible little world, with some of the most interesting characters and storylines. It'd be crime if I didn't at least find a good way to close off the story. With that being said, if you want an incredible reading experience, this ain't for you. Infact I'd probably discourage you from reading this book if you want any sort of entertainment at all. But if you want to support a young writer along his journey and you're interested on how writers develop over time, this book is perfect for you.
