The Mavericks is a group of contemporary art quilters in Arizona.Each year the group has a challenge. The 2014 challenge was titled "States of Mine" and had two themes: Arizona Naturally -inspired by anything characteristic of Arizona. Origins -inspired by the state/province/country where members were born or where they grew up. In response, 26 quilters made the 38 quilts featured in this book.
