States of Faith: Poems on Healing

The poems in this book are selections from "poems of the day," that I sent out to my email list between 2008-2011. During these years, I lived in Tucson, AZ, the Monterey Bay area of California, and Chicago, Illinois. I also spent time with family in my hometown of Warren, Ohio. I have divided my book into the "States" from where each email was sent. Usually in these emails I wrote a little story about my experience along with each poem. I often received responses about the meaningfulness of these stories, and so I included the original emails next to each poem. All proceeds from this book will be donated to local organizations (one from each community in the book) with the remainder to a global organization (Nightingale Initiative For Global Health).
