Ethan just wants a way out of his hum-drum life-and make a quick $100,000. When he's contacted to compete on a reality television show, he thinks only of the money and the free vacation. But after finding himself on a deserted island with a handful of wanna-bes, never-weres, and totally unbalanced crazies, he quickly realizes he's signed on for more than he bargained for.
Each contestant has been cast as a type-the hero, the villain, the nerd-but everyone is more than they appear. As the schemes and strategies spiral out, human dysfunction is left to run wild, leading one to question the true nature of "reality" in reality television. Soon the question becomes less about who will win than who will make it out in one piece.
Erik Reichenbach is a Michigan-based illustrator, storyteller and two-time Survivor contestant, appearing on Micronesia (2008) and Caramoan (2013). A Michigan native, Erik draws on his reality TV experience-and his love of humor and pop culture-to create playful, character-driven comics that resonate with audiences of all ages. His work has been featured in People and Entertainment Weekly, published by Turnpike Media, and celebrated by a global fanbase.
