Kill kill kill

Hold your breath and close your eyes. This movie hits the ground running. Shooting and running and shooting some more. Once again, the troopers find themselves hopelessly surrounded by bugs. There does not seem to be any way out. Then they find an abandoned outpost and make a heroic stand. We have one of every stereotype trooper in the book. And it does not take long to figure out the insidious bug plot. The question is, will it succeed? Or will the troopers become bug chow? Meantime this movie is much better than the first. As the first was a corruption of the book, this insulted the readers. It was also more cartoonish and insulted sci-fi moviegoers. This movie, “Starship Troopers 2,” does not pretend to be anything but a shoot-em-up movie. Don’t think, just wince. One thing that I appreciate is that during the credits, they match faces with names.
