John Carpenter's Starman

A great read, this little book is becoming more relevant as Man pushes outward into the Universe and longs to find signs of other life. How would we react to an arrival and are we ready? The Voyager craft were the most successful and cheapest. It's very interesting. The writer seems to sum up the strengths and weaknesses in humanity very well, looking at Man through the eyes of an impartial witness.
