Stari dani zbirka je pripovedaka u kojoj se otkriva "jedna tiha, topla i prostodusna filozofija srca" (Jovan Ducic) - knjiga o ljubavi, ceznji, suzama i bolu koji se podnosi s dostojanstvom.
