Starfall: Sisters of the Empire

By: Palliser, J.

In the waning hours before Aurelia's cataclysm, an Elite Shocktrooper company found itself entrenched in the Empire's most clandestine operations. This unit was unlike any other, predominantly composed of women-exceptionally trained, fiercely devoted, and united by a singular mission: to serve the Emperor without hesitation. As the Interstellar War escalated, the company was dispatched on a pivotal assignment, blissfully unaware that their time was running out.

As the clock ticked down to Aurelia's annihilation, tensions simmered within the ranks. Lieutenant Taryn Kross, the battle-hardened commander, wrestled with the burden of the Empire's increasingly grim objectives. Simultaneously, her fellow officers, Cailen Voska and Reyna Voss, faced their own internal struggles as they executed their orders, each soldier striving to reconcile duty with survival, all while grappling with the unsettling truth that their mission might lead to a far darker conclusion than they had ever imagined.

With the sands of time slipping away, the company was poised for the ultimate trial of loyalty and sacrifice. As Aurelia approached its tragic end, these women were forced to make impossible choices, all while the Empire they had sworn to protect began to fracture around them. This is the tale of their final stand-their last five days-before being consigned to oblivion alongside the planet Aurelia.
