Pretty good book

There's a sickness going all over the world. People fall asleep and they don't wake up. StarBright Connor thinks Spindle Sickness is something that happens to other people.Until her friend Mark gets the Sickness, and cannotbe awakened. Come to find out, its all the workof the Dream Eater, an evil mass of pure energy that is seton destroying the world. Now its up to StarBrightto track down the Dream Eater, and stop it. Can she save the world?I finished this book in one sitting. It was a fairly decent read, and I would probably read it again, if I couldn't find anything else that captured my attention.

LOOKING THROUGH THE EYES OF LOVE!

Everything is beautiful if you see it through the eyes of love, according to author Joy Cowley. The story of "Starbright" is about a twelve year old girl who is destined to save the world- and does, using her "lovesee" ability. She overcomes fear, in spite of the tragic circumstances of her birth; and learns how to trust in her beliefs and her unique gift of using the eyes of love. It's not the "Carrie" psychic repeat, nor the "Dorothy and her little dog Toto too vs the wicked witch" scenario. Although there are some creative references to magic for you "Harry Potter- series " fans. "Starbright and the Dream Eater" is a fine adventure story, and a fascinating way to consider facing the challenges of life. I liked this book. It is the fictional complement to "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff- for Teens" by Dr. Richard Carlson. Another good "must-read" book, after you finish "Starbright", of course.

an okay book

Starbright and the Dream Eater has an intresting plot, but the way the story went wasn't really good. Finding about her real mother had nothing to do with the story.
