About the Author

C. Robert "Bob" Welti, PhD possesses over fifty years of experience in aerospace and software systems. He has contributed to the space industry since the era of Sputnik on both military and commercial satellite and missile initiatives. His work involves reconnaissance, interceptor, and communications satellites. Bob holds a PhD in Engineering from UCLA. His doctoral dissertation is titled "Recursive Navigation and Guidance for the Midcourse Phase of Orbital Rendezvous" (1967).
