Hans Planet

The Corellian trilogy was great. Ambush at Corellia is full of interesting information on the home planet of Han Solo. The plot and storyline is very interesting and there is plenty of action for the fast pace fans. Roger did a great job on this trilogy and the others of his books I imagine would be just as good as his first. Any Star Wars fan would fine this book hard to put down. I recommend it highly.

A solid Star Wars book.

I confess, this book was a bit slow moving at first, but I managed to get into it, and from then on I enjoyed it. Leia, now Chief of State of the New Republic, goes to Corellia for a trade summit. Han and their three children come along, so the trip will be something of a vacation for them. Exploring his home planet for the first time in years, Han is shocked at how much it's changed for the worst. Meanwhile, Mara Jade has recieved a strange message intended for Leia, and Luke has gone off with Lando, who is in search of a rich wife (that was the one distracting subplot - hope it starts to make more sense in one of the next two books). The kids wander off during a visit to an archaeological and discover a strange technology. As tensions on Corellia worsen, a new leader threatens to rise from the shadows - with possible explosive and deadly results. If you're new to the Star Wars books, this is probably not the best book to start off with. You're better off reading them in chronological order, which I haven't done, unfortunatley. But if you have enjoyed other Star Wars novels, I would reccomend this one.

I liked it!!

I liked this book because it has more parts with Jania, Jacen, and Anakin (Leia and Han's kids). The Solo family is going to Corellia (Han's birthworld) and a few things happen. If you buy this book you should buy book 2, too. You will be in a rush to get to the next part.

Excellent

I think this is the best Star Wars book I have read besides "Vision of the Future." Allen is one of the few Star Wars authors with the ability to both tell an interesting story and get all the main characters' personalities right. Besides that, the new characters he introduces are interesting (particularly Belindi Kalenda and Q9-X2). There's also a lot of humor--I laughed out loud several times while reading this book. The other two books in the series aren't as good, but they're still a great improvement over most Star Wars books.

Boring and dull

This book was not that great. Once I finished it, I was hoping that the second book, Attack at Selonia would pick up with some more action. This book was too dull and not enough action was presented by the author. I did not feel enthralled or the need to want to finish it. I was not happy with the content and the slow progress of the story.
