After 20 years in service the USS Enterprise is completing the last of her assigned missions, though not without their concomitant issues. These include; precisely timed component and system obsolescence, declining crew morale, and a Captain who, in one night of 'letting loose' may have jeopardized his career. Add to that an Admiral whose infatuation for sending the Enterprise and her crew into harms way...a lot. Perhaps owning a lot of stock in the company chosen to replace the Enterprise suggests double dealing with a hint of insider trading? Then there are the missions which end with wild, unplanned, even ethereal outcomes. Missions involving wormholes, Romulans, escaped prisoners, Class M planets in decline, the Ferengi, a lonely satellite, the Pokemon-Mon and The Borg. It's 'Star Trek the Next Degeneration' at its finest, given the circumstances. It is also the USS Enterprise's swan song. Join in on the adventure - make it so.
