Stanley Meets Skyler

By Dr. Susan Barr

Swish Swish Who - or what - is gliding through the moonlit branches of the old oak tree?

What Stanley discovers is Skyler - a flying squirrel In Book 7 of the Stanley the Squirrel series, Stanley makes his most surprising friend yet: a squirrel who glides through the night sky. Stanley introduces Skyler to Gingi and Lulu, tries (hilariously) to glide himself, and gets to see something few backyard squirrels ever see - the wonder of the nighttime world.

Through his friendship with Skyler, Stanley learns that being different can be a special gift, and that differences don't need to be feared. The world can look different at night and still be the same wonderful world in the morning - bigger, more beautiful, and more interesting than he ever imagined.

A gentle story about celebrating differences, welcoming new friends, and seeing the world through someone else's eyes. Perfect for ages 3-8.
