Stanislaw-A Fascinating and Interesting Story

I really enjoyed reading the story of the Stanislaw Family. Graham did an excellent job describing the fear people had during the Communist Era. Not only for the people living there, but also what he experienced while traveling overseas. I really enjoyed the part where he visits the priest in the small town outside of Stanislaw hometown and is shown the contents in the hidden area of the church. Easy reading you won't want to put down until finished.
I was told it was a quick read...

All consuming to tell the truth. I would like to thank the author for the rectangular 'lap sunburn' I incurred while attempting to finish the book at 11 am after a sleepless night in S.E. Asia. Graham Fitch is an amazing story teller. To find that this story is somewhat autobiographical makes it all the more riveting.
Where There's No Will, There's Still a Way

Graham Fitch's account of his search for Stanislaw's heirs is riveting. The dangers and excitement of going behind the iron curtain in the '60s must grab and hold your attention; but, if they don't, surely his account of his sojourn in an isolated Polish village, completely untouched by influences beyond it's boundaries, will. It is this part of his quest that I found most enthralling. Graham's experiences truly corrobate the adage that truth is stranger than fiction.
