A small group of kids find their identity and where they stand throughout the utter chaos and destruction of the world around them. Even though they are overtaken, this group refuses to be defeated once they take a stand against the terror and fear of The Vortex. The Vortex wants to first take over the entire campus, and then press forward to other cities, but it can't do that until 78% of the population is completely under his control, and it's up to those in the Light to keep that from happening despite the risks and lives that are the high cost.
