Today, herbal medicines are becoming more and more popular on the pharmaceutical market. At the same time there are more and more cases of adulteration of drugs, which is a key factor for tightening measures to combat this problem. Introduction of such processes as standardization makes it possible to ensure the proper quality of herbal medicines. Standardization of solid dosage form of "Alanton" drug makes it possible to obtain a drug of high quality. A key element of the system of quality control of manufactured products is their standardization, i.e. development of unified norms and requirements for them. Standardization of a medicinal product includes the selection of indicators that characterize the quality, the development and validation of analysis techniques for the selected indicators and the establishment of appropriate numerical standards. Stability is studied on the main quality parameters: description, authenticity, solubility, temperature, melting point, extraneous impurities.
