useful and handy

My broker's website provides these S & P reports online in pdf format, updated frequently throughout the year, but I like to have the annual book at my fingertips too. I like to browse through the book to familiarize myself with the companies in the S & P 500, and to get investing ideas. The book is published annually in approximately mid-December, containing the reports as of early November of that year. For buy-and-hold investing, I look at the "Investibility Quotient" S & P gives each company, and the company's ten-year dividend history, among other things. Some years I buy the annual Morningstar Stocks 500 book too.
