A Homerun

This is truly a "Homerun" for the author. She pours her heart out as she navigates the hurt and emotions that both the black side of the victim and the white accuser with humility and honest emotions. I have never had praise for this Christian author because in all of the books that I have read about this author is too over the top with the preaching but this time, she pulls back the preaching and write a good emotional story that is touching. This proves to me that she can write with the narrative without washing the reader with all the preaching. I must admit that toward the end, I was getting upset that the ending would make me mad, but she found a way to end it with dignity. I would like to give her praise for her research on legal matters. I'm now looking for another novel from her that will make me happy.
