In the slowly emptying city of Mogorodz, a solitary and quietly weathered man named Vseslav Nikolaev moves through his days in a careful, unhurried routine, waking each morning to a sun he despises and making his daily pilgrimage to the Vedmava River, the one place that has belonged to him since childhood.
But as the city grows inexplicably quieter around him, and an unnatural blue darkness begins to settle over everything, a chance encounter at the riverbank with a mysterious, enigmatic stranger named Striboz draws Vseslav into something he had not anticipated: genuine conversations. Through their unhurried conversations beside the flowing water, long-buried memories and unspoken longings begin to slowly surface.
