Eileen, Just finished your book (doesn't that sound neat?) yesterday, so the timing is perfect with the Primetime special airing tonight. L o v e d the book. As you said, parts were very creepy and hard to even read. I had no idea this had all happened in our state! You, did a wonderful job of bringing this complicated and gripping story to life. You made it easy to understand and at the sametime a real page turner. Just fantastic. A Fan in Northfield, MN.
A compelling Study!

Stalking Mary is a totally absorbing read--I could not put the book down! It was clear and easy to understand and satisfyingly thorough--it answered my questions as it went along. I especially liked the psychological insights--in these cases one wonders what makes a perpetrator tick. It was a truly compelling study. I appreciated that the facts were presented without sensational language. I enjoyed reading about a woman of faith who showed strength, patience and dignity in the worst of circumstances. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to my friends and relatives. This would be a great selection for a book club!Stalking Mary

I found this book to be compelling and difficult to put down. Eileen Biernat has done a great public service by writing it.
Gripping and horrifying

This is one of those books that once you start reading it's hard to put down. It has a flair of Ann Rule with an attention to detail that matches the best of true crime. Eileen Biernat paints a heroic woman in Mary who uses her wits, her faith and unbelievable courage to keep herself and her daughter alive during an unbelievable ordeal.
