Stable Adaptive Systems

A very good book for neophytes in adaptive control as well as those who want to refresh concepts learned ages ago. The book is self-contained insofar as the history of adaptive control and the preliminaries are concerned. A wide class of systems has been analysed. The concepts are initially illustrated for simple systems, and the restrictions imposed on the class of systems is gradually eased to include multivariable and non-minimum plants. Key issues such as robustness and system identification using persistent excitation have been discussed in sufficient detail.

Classics in adaptive control engineering

This postgraduate text is already a classics in adaptive control engineering and has been out of print for a long while. I am glad to see Dover re-print this book. This book bring back my memory of those hard days doing research in college.
