The world recovered from the Great War, and later on a boom of innovation gave rise to the creation of androids that look exactly like humans. Androids make up half the world population and now work jobs. Accountant, nurse, doctor, plumber-you name it, and the android can do it more accurately and faster than a human.

But it's not the lack of work that is unsettling for humans. It's the recent disappearances of many new Gen-9 androids leaving their assigned designations and going rogue.Recent android disappearances caused a new position to be created in the police force: stabilizers.

Vincent Marker is a stabilizer in New York City tasked to hunt down rogue androids, and there is one android that caught his eye. One woman-android that named itself Bell and somehow got away.
