Strain had found himself standing outside the interrogation room. His hands rested on his legs while he was bent over, trying to figure out what world he had just walked into. Was there a possibility there was no one he could trust to work with? Was he all alone on the new journey ahead of him? He knew going forward that nothing was going to be easy anymore. He would no longer be playing in the small sandbox but now walking to a thick forest. What shadows were truly behind the bigger picture lying in front of him? Could he handle any more? Would he finally figure out the truth behind his friend's death? The job of a detective doesn't stop at a desk; and it was something done in the field. He will find out that he was barely exploring the city of Chicago that he loved. With this being the completion of the two-part series, I want the fans to really enjoy this. I want the readers to become immersed in the mental rollercoaster Strain is experiencing. With this now being the end of Strain's journey, I can happily close this door of my life as well. This two-part story was started as a way to express my creative ideas but I changed over the years to a mental release.
