Buz Swerkstrom may well have written more about the Riverway than anyone else during the three decades the book covers. Whether interviewing experts, covering management meetings and workshops, or witnessing field research, he captured it all thoroughly with a tape recorder and a camera. The result was stories with immediacy, passion, depth and historic significance.
