St. Clair's Gold

By John Andreoni

Buried treasure always makes a good story. Throw in a misfit priest with the gift of gab who landed in his vocation for all the wrong reasons, and the story gets better. Add one beautiful woman, scoops of intrigue and violence, an occasional murder for flavor, topped off with a dash of humor, and the recipe is complete. Father Brian O'Dwyer, a rogue priest at best, constantly fights his demons and anyone else who stands in his way. He's street smart and tough; yet there's goodness in his soul that surfaces on occasion. Most of all, he's a survivor. John Andreoni has been a free-lance writer of sorts for more than 40 years. His debut novel is a direct result of a dare. Although writing a novel was always at the back of Andreoni's mind, the fact that he could remove that item from hi "bucket list" was secondary. ST. CLAIR'S GOLD is the first of a planned five-book series. The author knows that finishing them all will be a race against time, a risk he is willing to take.
