My passion for a unique natural area known as St. Anthony's Wilderness near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA has inspired me to create a series of publications. Volume 2 begins with an introduction to the Moravian missionaries. They were among the first whites to lodge with the Indians and describe their customs and character in diaries. Compositions relating to the first humans in St. Anthony's Wilderness follow. Evidence of the first people to arrive in this area is just a few miles north of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The site, 36DA20, has been linked to a Paleo-Indian culture about 11,000 years ago. History of this site is examined. Volume 2 resumes with the "Devil's Race," a stunning geologic feature, but also the title of a book written for young adults. Next is a brief essay on two musicians who were inspired by the natural sounds of S. Anthony's Wilderness. Each volume contains Afterthought, added material and opinion.
