After achieving her degrees Susan went back home to Charleston, South Carolina. She missed her family, the weather and the Southern cuisine. At her age she realized she had a lot to learn outside of University, men, life skills and more Politics her passion. Once elected to the Senate she moved to Washington DC which in time became a quick lesson on Trump.

She never endorsed him herself but her party the Republicans had. From the beginning of his campaign she was appalled by his behavior, ideals, his racist rhetoric and lies. His attacks on Hillary and name calling of everyone who didn't agree with him was constant. She was shocked when he won the election and the shock continued.
