3rd edition of SRK Greenway Trail Guide (64 pages) includes all new full-color maps, updated trail descriptions, new photos of trail scenes. The SRK Greenway (SRKG) in west-central New Hampshire is a 75-mile, 14-section loop hiking trail, a emerald necklace touching the peaks of the mountains in our name. The Greenway passes through 10 towns, 4 state parks and 3 state forests. We walk through private lands, for example NH Audubon's Stoney Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Newbury and Webb Forest lands in Sunapee, New London, and Wilmot, Proctor Woods in Andover, and many properties of individual land-owners. The Trail Guide includes detailed descriptions of each of the 14 sections: Overview, Finding the Trailheads, Trail, Map (full color). Also included: a Trail Summary, membership information, trail history, hiking safety issues, land conservation concerns for preservation of rural character of western New Hampshire, photos of SRK trail blazes, and a 2-page list of spur trails from the SRK Greenway, including links to websites with maps of other area trails.
