India is in a crater-deep crisis economically. India's weakness has emboldened China to checkmate us in the Indian Ocean, our own backyard. SRI - an 88-word initiative - is an elixir for India's ills, to entomb China's hegemonic ambitions and make India the world's largest economy by 2030(PPP)/2037(Nominal). (A) Singapore has a 2000% higher population density than India, yet slum-free. India is full of slums. Why? (B) Why do the Chinese pay 4.9% for 30-year fixed mortgage rates and Indians pay 10%? (C) China has 800 million jobs. India: 520 million. Why is India lacking 280 million jobs? India's job-creation target is an abysmal 10 million. India created no jobs in 3 years. Why is India lagging so pathetically? (D) In peak years, China grew at 13%. India perennially struggles to grow at 8%. Why? (E) China exports $2100 bil vs India's $260 bil - and shamefully our exports were flat for 7 years. Why is India so infirm? Despite these facts, the author asserts with irrepressible optimism it is India's manifest destiny to be the world's largest economy. He scripts a new future for India, to make India 1100% richer in 20 years. Modi is a great blessing to India. Modi works hard; he should work smart using ideas from 50 rich countries suggested by SRI. SRI asks banks to cease lending to builders like DLF, Lodha, Unitech as they will be bankrupt if SRI's proposals are enforced. New builders will emerge to build a new gleaming India, with much larger, US-like homes for all. SRI will end poverty, slums, farmers' suicides, vanquish 80% black money and create 200 mil jobs, with no cost to the govt. India's GDP is $2.5 trillion. SRI will add $25 tril -$75 tril in a special case - to our GDP. Without SRI, India will be stuck as a 'lazy', imbecile power middling in a world order dominated by Red China. The book exposes how China will be undone by imminent political, demographic, economic storms. SRI will contain Red China to its proper place and make India lead the 21st century.
