Square Head! With an I.Q. not much higher than "Forest Gump," Michael has seemed to "make it!" from high school dropout, to world traveler, and now, an Author. Authors Note: This book started out as a journal for my grandkids. I wanted them to know who I really am. (Who really knows their grandparents?) Currently, they only know me as "Papa." I like that. I like being a papa. I like being known as the chubby little gray haired old man who works in the movie business. One grandchild, Jessica, once said to me, "Papa, you're not like my friends' papas', you're a little weird, but a cool weird." She then told me that I reminded her of Peter Pan; the boy who never grew up - just an older version now. I like that as well. My other grandkids, Rumor and Riley, call me "Willy Wonka". I believe this has something to do with the vast amounts of candy and sugar drinks I always seem to ply them with. (I do hope their parents have good dental insurance!)Now, they will know me! The good, bad, and the (not so) ugly truth! (I still want them to love me.)Square Head is a funny, intoxicating, fast read, with some great candid "Photo-op" moments of movie stars Mike was lucky enough to have worked with. A true behind the scenes look not only of Hollywood... but life!
