Encouraging us to Just Start

This book All New Square Foot Gardening book was very encouraging and the idea, that no matter how small you need to start, it makes a difference and getting started starts the learning. Written very informal and contained lots of examples. Breaks container gardening down into small pieces for the beginner.

An excellent push in the right direction

This book has such a wealth of excellent information, and is an easy read. The writer's style is simple and straightforward and the information is easy to digest and put into action. These days when our food sources seem to be at risk, growing our own food is a smart thing to do, and this is one of the smartest books to start with to get the ball rolling.
