Book Overview

They call it Spyder: a supposedly undetectable intelligence-gathering computer program that can easily penetrate heavily-encrypted computer networks. When ex-Navy SEAL Nolan Kilkenny discovers its existence, Spyder has already been stolen by three indusrial spies in a heist that quickly escalates to murder and treason. Suddenly, Kilkenny is leading the FBI and CIA in the search for Spyder... and is in the crosshairs of those who will stop at nothing to possess the ultimate spy weapon.

Got it all

Great Characters, plot, action, location and writing. This book has all the elements of a good read. Brings together US, Britain, China and Russia. Plenty of twists from technology within the understanding of the less than technologically proficient. Good Story. Looking for the next book. Does remind me a bit of Clive Cussler.Hooked on books.

Couldn't Put It Down!

This book was one of best books I ever read. I like espionage stories but since I'm a programmer, I want technology to be a big part of the story. This had both and it's hard to find these two things combined sometimes. Great action, more or less non-stop the whole way. This was a lot of fun and intelligent to boot. Has Grace written anything else? I want more.

Great New Age Spy Thriller

I loved "reading" this book on a car trip. I was always at the edge of my seat and trying to switch cassetes extremly fast so I wouldn't miss any of the book. It is a great book with a very believable plot and tons of action. I recommend this book to anyone!

An excellent spy thriller!

This was an good read. It jumped around a lot in the beginning, but the location headings helped. There are some inside jokes for Michiganians and U of M supporters. I would recommend the book.

Exciting reading by an exciting new author

I came across Tom Grace's name in "Books" magazine...in which his name was mentioned in an article with some heavy hitters like Clancy, Cornwell, Cook, etc. So I decided to buy his book. I was unable to put it down...and god help the person who disturbed me when I was reading it. I am excited that he has been signed for 3 more books. Mr. Grace, keep them coming like "Spyder Web" and you are sure to be a member of the thrill-writer's elite.
