a gem

This is the personal devotional Bible that Mr. Spurgeon used with his family. The passages are short and full of his commentaries that really bring the text to life. It jumps around the Bible, so do not get this with the thought that it will follow the Bible. It is a lovely picture of the personal side of this much gifted preacher.
