The book, Sprouting Lilies, is an expos of the health hazards and their related challenges which we face globally, on a daily basis. Every waking moment sees the birth of one disease or another in the world which negatively impacts on our economic and psycho-social development. Overtime, we have seen individuals, stakeholders and health organizations engage in awareness campaigns on HIV/AIDS and its mode of contraction. They do more by getting the carriers for a self-testimony on T.V. and Radio broadcast, to help reinforce the fight against this virus. Only a few are empathetic enough towards the victims and their family members. Moreover, it is said that health is wealth, but in the absence of health, we get otherwise; poverty, suffering, psychological trauma, hatred, isolation and even death.
