Childhood Memories

You know those childhood books that just stick with you all your life? Goodnight Moon, Where the Wild Things Are, Winnie the Pooh, or whatever your favorite book was as a child, these little gems have a special magic to them. It usually has to do with illustration and the pattern of the language used. These books have a comforting feel to them and the images still send us back. It is this connection to childhood, that makes Springtime for Jeanne-Marie so special to me. The images and stories of Jeanne-Marie are simple and precious. They are picture books from a more innocent era and I still come back to them like old friends. I only wish i could find these books again to send to my nieces and nephews.
